Martha was living with or near her daughter Rosa Burdette Keatley at Laurel Creek in Fayette Co, but Rosa died in May 1924, or 3 months prior to Martha's death. This suggests that Martha left Laurel Creek after her daughter died. Her obituary also notes that she was living with "Mrs. Al Adkins" in Hinton. In the 1920 census of Laurel Creek, Fayette Co, the family of "Elleck" Adkins ("Alec?") was enumerated 4 households from that of Rosa Burdette Keatley.
