Mrs. Margaret Burdette, wife of Giles M. Burdette, age 57 years, died at her home at Green Sulphur Springs last Friday, 8 February, of paralysis. She leaves a husband and 7 children: Mrs. Mattie E. Withrow, Mrs. Everett Fink, Richard, Cary, Elihu, and Hampton Burdett, all of this county, and W.E. Burdette of Charleston.
She was a member of the Baptist Church, a loving mother, and a devoted wife and loved by all who knew her. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at Green Sulphur Springs Sunday. She was followed by a host of friends to her last resting place, where she was to rest in the Gwinn Graveyard near the late home.4 
Burial*10 Feb 1907 Her body was interred on 10 Feb 1907 at Green Sulphur Springs, Summers Co, WV, at Gwinn Cemetery.4
