Norman V. Hutchison Age 75, of Odessa, died Sunday April 2, 2000 in the Christiana Hospital. Born in Townsend, DE son of the late Cecil & Olivia Hutchison. Mr. Hutchison retired from the Delaware National Guard in 1983 after 34 years of service. He was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Odessa, a former member of the Townsend Town Council, a past Secretary and member of the Townsend Fire Co. and a member of Old Union Church Historical Society. He was also an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed hunting. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vivian in 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine M. Hutchison; 1 son, Fred Hutchison of Middletown; 1 daughter, Sandy Wallis, also of Middletown; a step son, Larry Fretz and step daughter, Kathy Chas, both of Middletown; 1 brother, Austin "Smokey" Hutchison of Daytona Beach, FL; 2 sisters, Joanne Naylor of Townsend and Ruth Staats of Claymont; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Main St., Odessa, where friends may call 1 hour before the services. Friends may also call Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the DANIELS & HUTCHISON FUNERAL HOME, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown. Burial will be in the Townsend Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to St. Pauls United Methodist Church or to the Townsend Fire Co.³

Mary E. Meadows, 83, of Brighton, passed away Jan. 12, 2013, in Brighton. She was born Jan. 7, 1930, in Collierstown, Va., to Greenlee and Nannie (Bane) Ailstock. She graduated from high school in Covington, Va., and married Vance C. Meadows March 25, 1950, in San Francisco, Calif.
Mary was a stay-at-home mom who loved her vegetable and flower gardens and loved taking care of the farm. She loved being a farm girl and loved the fall colors of Virginia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary was a Southern Classy Lady who knew the value of hard work and family.
Mary is survived by her children, Mary Jane Holton, of Kilgore, Texas; Clifford Meadows, of Boise, Idaho; Gaye Elaine Patterson, of Cody, Wyo; Frank (Deb) Meadows, of Fort Lupton; Marggie Marie (Lenny) Buss, of Boise, Idaho; Joyce (Mark) Scruggs, of Powell, Wyo; and Jeannie (Rock) Eckhardt, of Casper, Wyo; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Vance, in 2010; two brothers and one sister. Funeral service was Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton. Interment will take place in Idaho.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to the Alzheimer’s Disease Association, 455 Sherman St., Suite 500, Denver, CO 80203. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.³

POST FALLS, ID: Robert Joseph 'Scrappy Joe' Meadows II., 49, of Post Falls, Idaho, Passed away on July 6, 2009 after drowning on Lake Coeur D' Alene following a boating accident. His body was recovered on August 15, 2009. He was born July 10th, 1959 to Robert and Tamara Meadows.
Scrappy Joe was a Mechanic, Carpenter, Plumber and an Electrician. He had an avid love of the mountains, the lakes, and the rivers of the Northwest, and loved camping and fishing with his Dad and friends. He was known for devoting his life to helping others. He was a Master Mason of Oliver Lodge 447 F&AM Caledonia, Ohio. He was a 1977 graduate of River Valley High School. Joe loved music from a very young age, and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing.
Joe's light will shine atop his beautiful mountain as he watches over all of his loved ones. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
He leaves behind his mother and father, Robert & Tamara Meadows I. of Post Falls, Id; sons, Joe (Sara) Meadows III, Chris (Brittni) Meadows, Daniel (Elizabeth) Meadows, and Andrew 'Hank' (Emily) Meadows, all of Marion; daughter, Topanga Meadows of Washington; brother, Eric (Lisa) Meadows of Marion; sisters, Peggy (Rocky) Jordan of Marion, Lindy (John) Engelhart of Green; grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, Pamela, Olivia, Ashton, Talan, Madison, and Brooklyn, all of Marion; several nieces and nephews; good friend, Rick Murrell of Hauser, Id; and longtime friend, Kevin Kneese of Marion; along with many friends he has made over the years.
Joe was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Fred and Annie Meadows; and maternal grandparents, James (Pipe) and Dorothy (Bobbie) Ferguson.
A memorial celebration will be held next summer by his family and friends, as they gather to celebrate his life.¹

Eric Arden Meadows, born July 30, 1960 in King County, Washington. Eric passed at home on October 05, 2020 after a 4 year battle of cancer with his family surrounding him. Eric was the owner and operator of Meadows Heating and Cooling for many years. His loved his family dearly and loved spending time with his children. He loved working in his garage, doing a project and restoring old cars. People would say Eric was the jack of all trades and if Eric couldn't fix it then throw it away. Eric is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Lisa (Conley) Meadows, they got married on April 21, 1984; children Eric (Sara) Meadows, Kaitlyn (Mike) Barber; mother Tamara Meadows of Marion; sisters Peggy Jordan of Marion, Lindy Engelhart of Idaho; grandson Rhett Meadows; his special in laws Dee (Dennie) Roberts, Bobby (Connie) Conley, Mona (Jay) Gilbert, Gina (Mike) Bickham, Shelley (Troy) Burge; and his very special father in law Ray Conley. Preceded in death by his father; Robert Meadows; brother Joe Meadows; mother in law Ola Conley. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for all the amazing care they have shown to Eric and his family during this battle. Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday October 09, 2020 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM with a service to immediately follow, at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302.¹
