Harriet Dare Fridley McCaleb, 83, of Beckley West Virginia, formerly of Eagle Rock, Virginia passed away Sunday, November 30, 2003. Mrs. McCaleb retired from the State of West Virginia as a Switchboard Operator for Pinecrest Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edwin McCaleb; parents, John Coe and Mary Luella Wolfe Fridley; and brother, Carl Vinton Fridley. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Edwin Curtis and Delores McCaleb of Iron Gate; daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta Deloris and Lannie Ballard of Natural Bridge, Peggy Carlene and Larry Parent of Beckley, West Virginia; grandchildren, Lisa Ballard, Lowell Ballard, Sherry Shaw, Brian McCaleb, Michael McCaleb, Carla Parent, and Kevin Parent; great-grandchildren, Aidan Elizabeth Ballard, Marc Judge, Kailee Judge, Halee Parent, and Hannah Bowers. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 4, 2003 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Terry Shaw at the Eagle Rock Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14777 Church Street, Eagle Rock, Va. . Interment will follow in the Eagle Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.5,3
