"Former Summers Boy Dies in State Asylum
C. Wran Withrow, of Green Sulphur Springs, has been advised of the death of his grandson, Oat Withrow, at the West Virginia Asylum, at Huntington, on the 9th instant. The deceased was about 24 years of age and had been an inmate of the institution for several years. His death was due to asthma, with which he had been afflicted since boyhood. He was a son of Allen Withrow, who formerly lived on Laurel creek, in Green Sulphur district, but who moved to the State of Oregon more than twenty years ago. He is at present located at Portland".3
