97. William⁶ Alderson (Robert⁵, Benedict⁴, John³, Richard², Richard¹) was born in Maury Co, TN ca 1822.⁽³⁹⁰⁾ William died 1858 at 36 years of age.⁽³⁹¹⁾

He married twice. He married Winney Dodson in Maury Co, TN, 23 December 1840.⁽³⁹²⁾ He married Nancy Wilkes 1842.⁽³⁹³⁾

William Alderson and Nancy Wilkes had the following children:

242 i. John W.⁷ Alderson⁽³⁹⁴⁾.

243 ii. Mary F. Alderson⁽³⁹⁵⁾.

244 iii. Harriet E. Alderson⁽³⁹⁶⁾.
