He married Clara B. Walkington in Macoupin Co, IL, 30 November 1882.⁽⁹⁶¹⁾ Clara was born 1865.⁽⁹⁶²⁾ Clara died 1949 at 84 years of age.⁽⁹⁶³⁾ Her body was interred in Waverly, Morgan Co, IL, Waverly East Cemetery.⁽⁹⁶⁴⁾
