27. James Cole⁵ Alderson (Jeremiah⁴, John³, Richard², Richard¹) was born in VA ca 1771. James died 1811 in Roane Co, TN, at 39 years of age.

He married Jane. Jane was born 6 September 1768.⁽⁶⁴⁾ (Additional notes for Jane⁽⁶⁵⁾) Jane died 1 December 1835 in Maury Co, TN, at 67 years of age.⁽⁶⁶⁾ Her body was interred in Alexander Cem, nr Spring Hill, Maury Co, TN.⁽⁶⁷⁾ She resided in Maury Co, TN 1824.⁽⁶⁸⁾

A census listed James as head of household in York Co, SC, 1800. He sold property in York Co, SC, 31 January 1801.⁽⁶⁹⁾ York Co, SC Deed Book E, No. 339, p. 484-485.
