She married William M. Gilkeson in VA, 1 November 1827.⁽²³⁷⁾ William was born in Lewisburg, Greenbrier Co, VA 16 April 1802.⁽²³⁸⁾ Son of Isaac and Susannah (Shanklin) Gilkeson of Smoot, Greenbrier Co, VA.

William died 10 December 1885 in Ravenseye, Fayette Co, WV, at 83 years of age.⁽²³⁹⁾ His body was interred in Landisburg, Fayette Co, WV, Gilkeson Cemetery.⁽²⁴⁰⁾ He was listed as a resident in the census report in Fayette Co, VA, 1850. A census listed William as head of household in Sewell Dist, Fayette Co, WV, 1880.
