3. William² Sims (James¹) was born in VA 6 November 1780.⁽¹⁵⁾ William died 15 October 1854 in Nicholas Co, VA, at 73 years of age.⁽¹⁶⁾ His body was interred in Beech Glen, Nicholas Co, WV, Sims Cemetery.⁽¹⁷⁾

He married Elizabeth Windsor in Kanawha Co, VA, ca 1800. Elizabeth was born in VA 22 March 1784.⁽¹⁸⁾ (Additional notes for Elizabeth Windsor⁽¹⁹⁾) Elizabeth died 20 April 1852 at 68 years of age.⁽²⁰⁾ Her body was interred in Beech Glen, Nicholas Co, WV, Sims Cemetery.⁽²¹⁾ She was listed as a resident in the census report in Nicholas Co, VA, 1850.⁽²²⁾
