In the 1850 Fayette Co, VA census, she is shown as "Electian" (the best I can make it out), with no middle initial. In 1860, the Aicher/Workman census transcription shows her as "Electa A."--my own transcription of that census has no middle initial (perhaps because I couldn't make it out.) Her marriage record doesn't exist, probably because it happened during the Civil War when Fayette Co. registration stopped. The Marsh 1880 Fayette Co. census transcription shows the name as "Electa O." My transcription of her death entry at Fayetteville was "Electa H.", but Shuck's Fayette Deaths doesn't show an initial at all.
