Remarried to Margaret Anna Clarissa EIDSON, 1874, daughter Addie Evangeline EIDSON b. 1876. He probably was a farmer. and a Baptist. Brother James Harvey RHEA m. Mary Jane ALDERSON, in 1874 also, and after the loss of two children, started for Iowa. Came upon Miami Co. Ks. and liked it so well he stayed. John Lawrence RHEA followed him in 1878. Also: Nov 1 1996 John Lawrence Rhea and his wife Mary Ann Turner Rhea migrated from Waverly Morgan Co. IL. to near Columbus, Cherokee, KS. in 1870. She died as well as three of their children by 1873. In 1874 John Lawrence Rhea married to Margaret Anna Clarissa Eidson, August 29, 1874. Their daughter Addie Evangeline Rhea was born 1876. Would like to find marriage record of this family. Also John Lawrence's brother James Harvey Rhea married Mary Jane Alderson September 27, 1874 in same place. He worked for the lumberyard when he first got there in 1873. Would also like to have their marriage record. I know they both were Baptist. This last family also lost two of their children there. Flora Rhea in 1875 and Thomas J. Rhea in 1876.
