He married three times. He married Isabella J. Craig in Maury Co, TN, 1 October 1835.⁽¹²⁹⁾ Isabella was born 12 April 1818. Isabella died 19 October 1838 in Maury Co, TN, at 20 years of age. Her body was interred in Hunter's Cem, Maury Co TN. He married Sarah J. Van Hook in Maury Co, TN, 5 March 1840.⁽¹³⁰⁾ He married Mrs. Martha J. Stanley in Union Co, AR, 8 October 1863.⁽¹³¹⁾
