She married Eliezer Franklin Akin in Maury Co, TN, 23 February 1862.⁽⁶⁰⁰⁾ Eliezer was born in Maury Co, TN 31 July 1823. (Additional notes for Eliezer Franklin Akin⁽⁶⁰¹⁾) Eliezer died 12 December 1890 in Fannin Co TX, at 67 years of age.

Novaline Rebecca Polk and Eliezer Franklin Akin had the following child:
