She married twice. She married William B Denning in Sumner Co, TN, 1818.⁽²⁰⁰⁾ William was born 1798. William died 1855 at 57 years of age.⁽²⁰¹⁾ She married Aaron Karr 1857. Aaron was born 1797. (Additional notes for Aaron Karr⁽²⁰²⁾)

Susannah "Lucky" Alderson and William B Denning had the following children:

161 i. James Hawkins⁷ Denning⁽²⁰³⁾ was born 1819. James died 1912 at 93 years of age. He married Sarah Fowler 1904.⁽²⁰⁴⁾

162 ii. Madison Denning⁽²⁰⁵⁾ was born 1820. Madison died 1919 at 99 years of age. He married Malinda Cooper 1837.⁽²⁰⁶⁾

163 iii. Granville Jackson "Dee" Denning⁽²⁰⁷⁾ was born 1822. Granville died 1864 at 42 years of age. He married Melvina Cooper 1842.⁽²⁰⁸⁾

164 iv. Martha Jane Denning⁽²⁰⁹⁾ was born 1824. Martha died after 1870. She married Andrew Jackson Bradley 1841.⁽²¹⁰⁾

165 v. John Denning⁽²¹¹⁾ was born 1826. John died 1862 at 36 years of age.⁽²¹²⁾

166 vi. William Carroll "Bill" Denning⁽²¹³⁾ was born 1828. William died 1861 at 33 years of age.

167 vii. Bowles Denning⁽²¹⁴⁾ was born 1830. Bowles died 1869 at 39 years of age. He married Nancy J. Canida 1854.⁽²¹⁵⁾

168 viii. Francis Marion Denning⁽²¹⁶⁾ was born 1833. Francis died 1840 at 7 years of age.

169 ix. Andrew Benton "Bent" Denning⁽²¹⁷⁾ was born 1835. Andrew died 1905 at 70 years of age. He married Sarah Elizabeth Grubbs 1853.⁽²¹⁸⁾
