13. Jeremiah⁴ Alderson (John³, Richard², Richard¹) was born in Richmond Co, VA after 1739/0. Jeremiah died after 1795 in Lunenburg Co, VA.

He married Susan(?) Cole.

Jeremiah registered to pay taxes in Lunenburg Co, VA, 1783. Jeremiah registered to pay taxes in Lunenburg Co, VA, 1787. He sold property in Lunenburg Co, VA, 19 August 1795. Jeremiah sold all his household property and stock for £20 to John S. Alderson in Lunenburg. The deed was dated 19 August 1795 and witnessed by Elisha and Benjamin Estes. Proved 11 February 1796. Although Jeremiah did not name John S. as his son, the deed probably represents a will. No other will has been found; Bell's Lunenburg Wills 1746 - 1825 has no Aldersons.
