LAKELAND - Martha A. Johnson, 53 went home to be with the lord on January 8, 2008 following struggles with cancer.
Born in Fairmount, WV she was a teacher at Crystal Lake Elementary School and a member of Epic Church of Lakeland.
Martha is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Johnson, III, daughters: Laura Ann Johnson, Rebecca Jane Geohagan, Grace Martha Johnson and Emma Sue Johnson all of Lakeland, her mother and father, Robert and Martha Evelyn Amos of Mannington, WV, sisters: Phyllis Zirkle of Elkins, WV, Mary Robertson, of Matlacha, FL, Ann Martin of White Hall, WV, brothers: Robert Amos, Jr. of Charleston, WV, Paul Amos of Metz, WV and Mark Amos of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Friends will be received at Lakeland Funeral Home, 2125 South Bartow Highway, on Friday, 1/11/2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. where funeral services will be held on Saturday, 1/12/2008 at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Tim West to Officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
