She married Fred Neal in Drakes Creek, Madison Co, AR, 24 October 1909.⁽¹⁷⁷⁾ Fred was born in Drakes Creek, Madison Co, AR 21 January 1887.⁽¹⁷⁸⁾ Fred died 15 June 1970 in Fayetteville, Washington Co, AR, at 83 years of age.⁽¹⁷⁹⁾ His body was interred 18 June 1970 in Wesley, Madison Co, AR, Wesley Cemetery.

Ida Kate Alderson and Fred Neal had the following children:
