He married Margaret Evelyn Bailey in Hindsville, Madison Co, AR, 1 October 1876.⁽³⁷⁾ N. H. Alderson and M. E. Bailey were united by me in the bonds of Holy Matrimony at Hindsville, Madison County, Arkansas, on the First day of October in the year of our Lord 1876, in the Presence of Jesse Alderson and wife and others. Margaret was born 8 January 1860.⁽³⁸⁾ Margaret died 25 November 1944 in Leroy, McLennan Co, TX, at 84 years of age. Her body was interred in Leroy, McLennan Co, TX, Olive Branch Cemetery. Daughter of Goerge F. Bailey and Elinor Thomas.
