He married Virginia Mary C. Stinson in Giles Co, VA, 30 December 1874.⁽²⁷⁵⁾ Virginia was born 6 December 1848 in Giles Co, VA.⁽²⁷⁶⁾ Virginia was the daughter of John Stinson and Elizabeth Waddle. Virginia died 6 June 1900 at 51 years of age.⁽²⁷⁷⁾
