He was listed as a resident in the census report 1900 in Summers Co, WV.⁽⁵⁴⁴⁾ It is not certain that Peter Clarence Wyant who married Florence Coen in MS in 1924 is the same Peter C. Wyant of Summers Co, WV, though David Moore Smith, grandson, believes they are the same person.

Peter Clarence Wyant and Florence Coen had the following children:
