Leonidas was born 10 Oct 1863 in Wolf Creek, Monroe Co WV.⁽⁴²²⁾ Leonidas was the son of George Washington Burdette and Laurinda Susan Longanacre. Leonidas died 13 Jul 1903 in Charleston, Kanawha Co, WV, at 39 years of age.⁽⁴²³⁾ He was listed as a resident in the census report 1880 in Talcott Dist, Summers Co, WV.

She was listed as a resident in the census report 1870 in Blue Sulphur Dst, Greenbrier Co, WV.

340 iii. Howard Payne Burdette was born in Summers Co, WV 7 Jun 1890. Howard died 21 Jun 1890 in Summers Co, WV, at less than one year of age. His body was interred in Wingfield Cem, Ramp, Summers Co, WV.
