She married Asher Burdette in Monroe Co, VA, July 1827.⁽¹⁰⁾ Asher was born circa 1805 in VA. Asher was the son of Giles Burdette and Sarah Dunbar. He was listed as a resident in the census report 1840 in Monroe Co, VA. age 30-40

Mary Dehart and Asher Burdette had the following children:

+ 40 i. George St. Clair³ Burdette was born 30 Dec 1832.

+ 41 ii. Giles Burdette was born circa 1834.

+ 42 iii. Mary Jane Burdette was born 10 June 1838.
