He was inducted into the military in Berks Co, PA, 1775. He was released from active duty in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co, PA, ca 1781. A census listed Abraham as head of household in Monroe Co, VA, 1810. A census listed Abraham as head of household in Monroe Co, VA, 1820. A census listed Abraham as head of household in Monroe Co, VA, 1830. Abraham received a land warrant in 1792 for his service in the Revolutionary War. In 1801, Abraham patented land in the US Military Reserve in Ohio, but there is no evidence he ever lived there. See a map of the township where his patent was located.
