He married twice. He married Malinda Ann Fletcher estimated 1765. Malinda died ca 1810 in Mercer Co, KY. He married Mrs Leah Lucas in Mercer Co, KY, 13 May 1811. A census listed Leah as head of household in Clark Co, IN, 1830. head of family; Benjamin had evidently died.

He sold property in Russell Co, VA, 1791. A census listed Benjamin as head of household in Mercer Co, KY, 1810. A census listed Benjamin as head of household in Clark Co, IN, 1820.

56 i. Aaron⁵ Alderson Sr. was born in PA 2 October 1767. Aaron died after 1853 in OH. He married three times. He married Ruth Marrs in VA, ca 1786. Ruth was born in York Co, PA 13 Oct 1767. Ruth died 12 Jul 1839 in Jessamine Co, KY, at 71 years of age. He married Ruth Bosley in Lincoln Co, KY, 4 November 1805. Ruth was born in MD CA 1780. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Hart Co, KY, 1850. Enumerated in household of son Alberry S. Alderson, age 70, b. MD.

He married Martha --?-- after 1832.

He was listed as a resident in the census report in Green Co, KY, 1800. A census listed Aaron as head of household in Barren Co, KY, 1810. A census listed Aaron as head of household in Hart Co, KY, 1820. He was listed as a resident in the census report in Ashtabula Co, OH, 1840. 57 ii. Isaac Alderson. Isaac died 1808 in Garrard Co, KY, at 39 years of age. wife, unnamed, two daughter, one Malinda. He married .

59 iv. Rachel Alderson was born in VA ca 1775.⁽⁸⁷⁾ She married Harris Stanley ca 1795.⁽⁸⁸⁾ Harris was born in NC.

She moved ca 1800 in Campbell Co, TN.⁽⁸⁹⁾ She moved 1818 in Howard Co, MO.⁽⁹⁰⁾ Evidence connecting Rachel to father Benjamin is speculative. Rachel's husband Harris Stanley was living in Russell Co. near Benjamin and Aaaron Alderson prior to their move to Kentucky.

60 v. John Alderson. He resided July 1825. John was named as heir and executor in his brother Moses' will.

61 vi. Amy Alderson⁽⁹¹⁾ was born in VA ca 1780. Amy died after 1856 in IL. She married Major Dodson in Clark Co, KY, 25 Feb 1797.⁽⁹²⁾ Major Dodson md Amey Alderson, bondsmen Benj ALDERSON teste D. BULLOCK, verbal consent Benjamin ALDERSON, father of Amey.

Major was born in VA ca 1772. (Additional notes for Major Dodson⁽⁹³⁾) Major died June 1856 in Washington Co, IL, at 83 years of age. Occupation: Baptist minister.
