The returns were dated 19 July 1815 but contained other marriages with the dates 1813, 1814, and 1815. Although Jane is listed as "Elizabeth Legg" in the return, no other Miles Burdette has been identified, and Jane is listed as "Jane Burdette" in the 1850 census.2 |
