928. Mary Agnes⁵ Houk (Malinda Fletcher⁴ Alderson, Aaron³, Benjamin², John¹)⁽²⁶⁷⁸⁾ was born in KY 28 December 1848. Mary died 15 August 1946 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co, CA, at 97 years of age.

She married William Jefferson Simpson 1882. William was born in TN 24 February 1856. (Additional notes for William Jefferson Simpson⁽²⁶⁷⁹⁾) William died 31 October 1930 in Mt. Grove, Wright Co, MO, at 74 years of age.

Mary Agnes Houk and William Jefferson Simpson had the following children:

2028 i. Bascom⁶ Simpson⁽²⁶⁸⁰⁾. He resided in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co, CA 1946.

2029 ii. Anna Fletcher Simpson⁽²⁶⁸¹⁾ was born in Horse Cave, Hart Co, KY 11 April 1882. Anna died 29 January 1915 in Kansas City, Jackson Co, MO, at 32 years of age. Her body was interred in Mt. Grove, Wright Co, MO. She married Edward Johnston Hickman in Wright Co, MO, 30 December 1906. Edward was born in Obion Co, TN 30 June 1866. (Additional notes for Edward Johnston Hickman⁽²⁶⁸²⁾) Edward died 23 April 1936 Memphis, Shelby Co, TN, at 69 years of age.
