Major was born in VA ca 1772. (Additional notes for Major Dodson⁽¹⁴²⁾) Major died June 1856 in Washington Co, IL, at 83 years of age. Occupation: Baptist minister.

220 ix. Thomas Dodson⁽¹⁵¹⁾ was born in Clark Co KY 1810. Thomas died 25 Nov 1855 in Kane, Greene Co IL, at 45 years of age. Occupation: teacher.
