19. John 'River Jack'3 Alderson (John2, John1) reference ALDEJO83 was born in Greenbrier Co, VA 4 September 1783. John died 25 June 1853 in Monroe Co, VA, at 69 years of age. His body was interred in Alderson, Greenbrier Co, VA, Old Greenbrier Baptist Church.

Know all men by these presents that we John Alderson Son of John Junior and John Alderson son of Thomas Alderson are held and firmly bound unto John Page Esq: Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia and his Successors in the Sum of one hundred and fifty Dollars with Condition that there is no lawful cause to obstruct a marriage Intended to be Solemnized between said John Alderson and Jane Walker of this County. Then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full Force and virtue. Witness our hands and seals this 14th day of January, 1805. Nancy was the daughter of Robert Robinson and Nancy Hill. Nancy died 9 Feb 1836 in Monroe Co, VA, at 32 years of age. Her body was interred in Alderson, Greenbrier Co, VA, Old Greenbrier Baptist Church. He married Mrs Eleanor Milhollen in Monroe Co, VA, 8 February 1839.(39) Eleanor was born in VA ca 1798. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Monroe Co, VA, 1850.
