She married Thomas Smithson Sr. in Greenbrier Co, VA, 19 April 1796. Thomas was born in MD ca 1772.⁽²⁵⁾ Thomas was the son of Thomas Smithson Jr. and Sarah Bond. Thomas died 9 October 1854 in Monroe Co, VA, at 82 years of age.⁽²⁶⁾ Thomas's occupation: stonemason. He was listed as a resident in the census report in Monroe Co, VA, 1850.⁽²⁷⁾
