148. Benjamin Amos⁴ Alderson (Abel³, Thomas², John¹) was born in Harford Co, MD 11 Nov 1810.⁽⁶⁶⁴⁾ Benjamin died 7 May 1895 in St Charles, St Charles Co, MO, at 84 years of age.⁽⁶⁶⁵⁾ His body was interred in St Charles, St Charles Co, MO, Oak Grove Cemetery.⁽⁶⁶⁶⁾

He married twice. He married Matilda Margaret Farrar in Washington, Adams Co, MS, 21 Nov 1838.⁽⁶⁶⁷⁾ Matilda died 4 Mar 1847 in MO. He married Mary Lisle Baker in St Charles, St Charles Co, MO, 23 December 1847. Mary was born in Culpeper Co, VA 23 August 1821.⁽⁶⁶⁸⁾ Mary was the daughter of Samuel Baker and Elizabeth Gamble. Mary died 13 July 1893 at 71 years of age.⁽⁶⁶⁹⁾ Her body was interred in Oak Grove Cem, St Charles, MO.⁽⁶⁷⁰⁾

Mary was born in Culpeper Co, VA and raised at Winchester, VA. Her mother was a Gamble and Mary was a relative of Gov. Gamble of MO. [Helen Boswell, July 1980, citing History of Bar and Bench in MO, p. 135-136.]
